Winter-Ready Trailheads - Stonehouse and BRCF

Two of our popular trails are ready for your winter enjoyment:

Stonehouse Forest: The parking lots at Stonehouse Forest are plowed and available for snow excursions.

Birch Ridge Community Forest:  The road and parking lot at the top of Birch Hill Road is plowed.

Trail Closures Thursday and Friday at Tucker & French Family Forest and Schulz Turtle Brook Preserve

Today, there is invasive plant treatment going on at Tucker & French and Schulz Turtle Brook Preserve (also happening here on Friday).  At Tucker & French we will be closing the parking area/trailhead at Gate 6 (Beach Plain Rd) and the trailhead at Gate 5 (Mill Pond Loop), which will both be reopened tomorrow.  Please respect the trail closures and especially keep pets off of these trails during the brief closure. Schulz, including a portion of the Barrington trail, will be closed Thursday and Friday.  Thank you!
