Trail Closures Thursday and Friday at Tucker & French Family Forest and Schulz Turtle Brook Preserve

Today, there is invasive plant treatment going on at Tucker & French and Schulz Turtle Brook Preserve (also happening here on Friday). 

At Tucker & French we will be closing the parking area/trailhead at Gate 6 (Beach Plain Rd) and the trailhead at Gate 5 (Mill Pond Loop), which will both be reopened tomorrow. 

Please respect the trail closures and especially keep pets off of these trails during the brief closure. Schulz, including a portion of the Barrington trail, will be closed Thursday and Friday.

Birch Hill Road Parking Lot, Cabin Trail, and Birch Ridge Cabin CLOSED Temporarily for Trail Construction

Starting today, at Birch Ridge Community Forest in New Durham, the parking lot at Birch Hill Road, the Cabin Trail that leads from the lot, and the Birch Ridge cabin are all temporarily closed. For the next four to six weeks, SELT and Snowhawk LLC will be installing an all-persons trail that will start at the Birch Hill entrance and run to the cabin (between 3,600 and 4,000 feet in length). Please no roadside parking as there will be trucks driving in and out.  To access Birch Ridge Community Forest you can still use the parking areas at Brienne Road and Merrymeeting Road. Thank you.
