Birch Ridge Trail Status Updates

At Birch Ridge Community Forest, the connector trail between the Lake Trail and the Rattlesnake Mountain Trail has been cut and flagged for snow shoeing/skiing. Enjoy the wintry weather! 

Meanwhile, at the Mt. Eleanor Trail: the trail is currently blocked by young pines bent over and broken.  They completely block the trail.  These pines and downed branches will be cleared next week to open up the trail. Please use extreme caution when walking the trail.

Trail Closures Thursday and Friday at Tucker & French Family Forest and Schulz Turtle Brook Preserve

Today, there is invasive plant treatment going on at Tucker & French and Schulz Turtle Brook Preserve (also happening here on Friday).  At Tucker & French we will be closing the parking area/trailhead at Gate 6 (Beach Plain Rd) and the trailhead at Gate 5 (Mill Pond Loop), which will both be reopened tomorrow.  Please respect the trail closures and especially keep pets off of these trails during the brief closure. Schulz, including a portion of the Barrington trail, will be closed Thursday and Friday.  Thank you!
