Mud season comes early! If the trails are soft, please keep off!

Mud season has arrived earlier than expected this year. During this time, our trails can be easily damaged, especially with mountain bike use and horseback riding. Even hiking on soft, thawing trails can have a negative impact.

Please use trails you know remain firm during mud season and steer clear of others until they firm up again. Thank you for helping keep our trails in good condition for everyone to enjoy!

Note: if you're going to use a muddy trail please walk through the mud. Going around damages the surrounding soil and vegetation and is far worse than just walking on the trail. If you don't have shoes ready to repel the mud, we would suggest waiting for the ground to dry a bit more before hitting the trails.

Thank you!
